About the event
Learn how you can use the power of psychology to alleviate symptoms of the menopause with Dr Hannah Ranaldi, Practitioner Health Psychologist and Founder of Health Psychology Scotland.
Join us at Fairbairn House for an enlightening free event where we explore how psychology can help ease the symptoms of menopause.
Perimenopause and menopause brings a time of transition for many women. Around 70% of women will experience symptoms, like hot flushes, disrupted sleep and night sweats. Whilst hormone replacement therapy (HRT) remains the main medical treatment, 95% of women say they'd rather try alternative therapies beforehand.
Scientific evidence show us that there is a complex link between our bodies, our minds and our social world. Psychological approaches are currently recommended by current clinical guidance as an effective treatment for both emotional wellbeing and physical symptoms.
Dr Hannah Ranaldi will share valuable insights and techniques to navigate this stage of life with confidence and positivity. Don't miss this free opportunity to learn and connect with others going through similar experiences. See you there!
