About
Dr Hannah Ranaldi is a chartered practitioner health psychologist, with over seven years experience working for the NHS, charitable organisations and private practice. She is experienced in assessment, formulation and psychological interventions aimed at supporting both behaviour change, emotional wellbeing and adjustment. Dr Hannah Ranaldi draws upon a range of evidence-based practices, including Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. Hannah also holds a Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Nutrition and Health.

Whilst undertaking the Doctorate in Health Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University, Dr Hannah Ranaldi maintained employment in NHS Lothian, where she developed competencies in designing and delivering home-based rehabilitation programmes and led on the development of a digital mobile application. Inspired by this and her client work, Dr Hannah Ranaldi is keen to develop different ways of providing therapeutic support. She has designed and delivers many group-based interventions, such as those mentioned in our communities.

In addition to her applied practice, Dr Hannah Ranaldi currently works part-time as a Lecturer in Psychology. She is passionate about the development of trainee practitioner psychologists and currently is undertaking specialist training to provide applied practice supervision. In this role, she is actively involved in research. Dr Hannah Ranaldi's research interests currently are in resilience, wellbeing, work-place interventions, digital technology in health, psychological adjustment to illness and supported self-management of long-term conditions.
