Psychological Care for Your Health

Integrated Psychological Care for Mind, Body & Health

Founded in 2022 by Dr Hannah Ranaldi, Health Psychology Scotland was created to offer something different: a calm, bespoke space where health psychology is delivered with excellence, compassion, and a truly personalised approach. Our focus is on supporting people who are living with pain, fatigue and health conditions to feel more at ease in their bodies and lives. We bring health psychology directly to individuals, communities, and organisations - redefining what it really means to look after your health and wellbeing.

We know that change is not simple, and modern life is demanding. That’s why our approach is thoughtfully paced, evidence-based, and human. We integrate science, psychotherapy, and behaviour change with supportive conversation and practical strategies that fit real life. Our values are clear. We believe that our clients know themselves best. We meet you with empathy, compassion, integrity and respect.

What People Come to Us For

We work with people navigating health-related challenges, not just diagnoses, offering specialist psychologist support that recognises the connection between mind, body and everyday life.

We specialise in supporting people to adjust to new, changing or long-term health conditions.

Our work focuses on understanding the impact of diagnosis and symptoms, reducing distress, and building confidence in self-management and daily life.

This includes support with:

  • adjusting to diagnosis

  • health-related anxiety and uncertainty

  • navigating identity, work and life changes linked to health

We provide specialist psychological care for people living with ongoing or fluctuating physical symptoms, recognising the close interaction between mind, body and nervous system.

This includes:

  • pain

  • fatigue

  • IBS and gut–brain conditions

  • functional and stress-sensitive symptoms

Our approach supports symptom understanding, reduced escalation, and improved quality of life - rather than "fixing" symptoms.
